Foster Children & Adoption Service
Foster Child Service (PKD)
The foster child service offers children the opportunity to grow up in a family environment when this is not possible with their biological parents. This can be for a limited period of time or permanently.
We prepare families and couples for this task and accompany them and the child throughout the foster care relationship and also during visitation contacts with the birth parents.
We offer continuous professional counseling in living with a foster child, supervision with other foster families, family weekends, different trainings and inform about financial help.
The foster child service will be happy to advise you personally. Call us or write to us.
You can reach us at these times:
Mondays 09:00 - 11:00
Thursdays 14:00 - 16:00
The adoption agency addresses both parents who would like to give their child up for adoption and applicants who would like to adopt a child.
We offer expectant parents or pregnant women help in deciding whether to give their child up for adoption or whether other forms of support may be available.
For those interested in adoption, we offer information on the topic of domestic and intercountry adoption. In this context, we provide support in the selection of a recognized intercountry adoption agency.
We offer professional counseling in living with an adopted child, supervision with other adoptive families and different trainings.
In addition, if you have been adopted and are now looking for your birth parents or have given a child up for adoption yourself and would like to get in touch, we can help you get in touch.
