Noise action planning - Stage 4
Due to the Federal Immission Control Act, the city of Hilden is obliged to draw up a noise action plan at regular intervals for the areas in the city area affected by road traffic noise on main roads.
On behalf of the city of Hilden, an engineering firm has spent the last few months preparing the draft report for stage 4 noise action planning.
As part of an initial participation process, the current noise maps were available for inspection at the town hall from October 16 to November 3, 2023 and could also be viewed online on the city of Hilden's website.
As part of the second participation phase, the stage 4 noise action plan with the proposed measures was presented and put up for discussion from February 21 to March 22, 2024 inclusive. During this period, it was also possible to view the documents both in the town hall and on the city of Hilden's website.
The comments received from citizens, authorities and public agencies are now being evaluated.
The results of the deliberations are incorporated into the final version of the Stage 4 noise action plan report. This will be presented to the Urban Development Committee and the Council at the next possible meetings for discussion and decision, so that the noise action plan can be submitted to the district government by the deadline of 18.07.2024.
