Retail & gastronomy & weekly market
As part of the Economic Development Department, City Management oversees the retail sector, the restaurant industry, the weekly market, and commercial events in the downtown area.
The main focus of this effort is on bringing together the interests and ideas of the various stakeholders from the retail sector, weekly markets, and the restaurant industry—both in the downtown area and in the local shopping centers in the outlying districts.
The goal is to work together with all stakeholders to actively shape Hilden’s vibrant and diverse shopping, entertainment, and dining offerings. To this end, City Management works closely with the City Marketing and Public Relations departments.
