Die Befristeten - Theater evening

For a year, the theater stage in Hilden remained silent - now the theater is back.

With "Die Befristeten" by Elias Canetti, the ensemble déjà-vu from Bonn brings a haunting and timeless play to the stage. It centers on a society in which every person is assigned a fixed lifetime from birth. Names lose their meaning - the only thing that matters is how many years you have left. One's own date of death is known, life can seemingly be planned.

But what happens when the first doubts arise? When people start to question this system and go against the established order?

Elias Canetti creates a thought-provoking play about time, control and freedom that is as clear as it is disturbing. The production invites us to reflect on our own finiteness and the question of how we want to shape our lives.

An intense evening of theater that is thought-provoking and has a long-lasting effect.

The entrance fee is 20 euros.
