Repair meeting

The repair meeting takes place every second and fourth Wednesday of the month on the premises of the Hilden City Library. Several experts from the fields of electronics, electrics, mechanics and wood as well as organizational support are available there to repair small electrical appliances, wooden toys and similar items. The experts have the appropriate tools and check whether a repair is possible.

It is possible to actively participate in the repair, although this is voluntary. The aim is to save defective appliances such as radios, vacuum cleaners or alarm clocks before they are replaced, provided that a repair seems sensible. Appliances can simply be brought along. The experts on site decide whether a repair is possible and carry it out directly if necessary.
