October is pink - and with good reason. As International Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Pink October aims to raise awareness of breast cancer, the importance of early detection and the many people who are directly or indirectly affected. After all, the earlier the diagnosis, the better the chances of recovery.
With their joint series of events, the equal opportunities officers in the district of Mettmann want to encourage, inform and promote exchange. Whether it's a specialist lecture, a creative hands-on activity or a walk in the city forest - each event invites you to strengthen yourself, ask questions or simply take part.
They would like to thank all contributors and cooperation partners for their commitment - and wish visitors lots of good ideas, invigorating conversations and one thing above all: that no one remains alone.
