Elementary schools & childcare

In order to be able to reconcile work and family life, many parents consider a reliable childcare program at the elementary school to be a key prerequisite. In recent years, the city of Hilden has continuously expanded the number of childcare places available at all of the city's elementary schools.

Childcare services are provided during the school and vacation periods, with the exception of the summer and winter closure periods.

The monthly fee depends on the type of care and the amount of gross annual income of the legal guardian. The costs for lunch are to be paid in addition to the childcare fee.
